About three months ago I found out I am pretty ALLERGIC to milk and have had to eliminate it COMPLETELY from my diet. However, I am still breaking out in hives. I believe I have found the trigger in my asthma inhaler, Flovent (white cannister, orange holder). I looked at the patient information and sure enough it says to advise your doctor if you have an allergy to milk.
Before the milk allergy was diagnoised I reacted VERY badly to both Serentide and Pulimcort (Budosinide), again both say if you have an allergy to milk inform you doctor.
I’m wondering if anyone with a milk allergy have a problem with their Flovent/Flixotide perscription? If so what do you take instead, everything that I read says the same thing. I’m going to the doctor but would like to be a little informed when I walk into the office, please help.

My son who just turned15 months, I think has an allergy to cow’s milk.
I started giving him whole milk about two weeks ago, and about 5 days after taking it he has had diarreah ever since.
But he is still drinking, and doesn;t have a fever.
I was just wondering if anyone else is going through this.
I have heard some information on a cow’s allergy, and it says sometimes the child may outgrow it.

My daughter just switched to whole milk from breast milk. She has some symptoms of an allergy, but very very mild… what did you experience when you found out your child had milk allergy?

My baby is 9 weeks old. This week, she had diarrhea with blood in it, vomiting, and what looked like eczema. The doctor thinks it was just a GI infection. She is on Nutramigen right now and will switch back to her regular formula in a day or two to test if it was the infection or if it was a milk allergy. I’m just curious if this would be a typical onset of a milk allergy or not.
