There are allergies to both in the house. As well as a milk allergy. This question was posted last week with answers that wouldn’t work for these allergies.

Any idea if babies prefer the taste of one over the other ? My baby has cows milk allergy and I am debating between Alimentum and Nutramigen. Die-Hard Breast Milk advocates who have “pearls of wisdom” on giving breastmilk instead of forumla.. please do NOT reply !!!! I know that breastmilk is the best and I am planning on supplementing on the days I feel my milk supply may not be enuff for my 4.5 month old.

My baby is almost a month old and my seasonal allergies just started acting up. I also wanted to know if it was possible for my baby to already have seasonal allergies. He has the same symptoms I do, stuffy/runny nose and sneezing quite a bit. My Dr appt is next week, I was just asking because I hate to be miserable for a week and my milk supply hurt because of it.

I was allergic to milk as a child, and out grew it at age 8. I am Anaphylaxic to peanuts and have not grown out of it– im 18 now. They say it’s almost impossible to outgrow a deadly allergy though. As for the milk? It really depends on the time of your life and if your body wants to or not. Another alternative is allergy shots but they are an inconviniance and are not all that effective. Good luck!

I’m just about finished w/ a can of his formula and I’d rather not buy another one if I can just buy a jug of milk instead. He’ll be a year in a couple weeks and has never shown any allergy to whole milk yogurt or pasturized cheese. Do I have the okay or should I just wait for his appointment?
