Depends how serious. If it is very serious you will get A: Hives, itchy mouth, coughing, and eventually go in to anaphalactic shock (which will kill you within an hour so if you feel like this go to a hospital immediatly) If it isn’t as serious you may develop an itchy mouth and a rash.

Question by proudmom: If a baby has an allergy to wheat products, what signs do I look for?
He’s 10 months old and we gave him a little bit of wheat bread this weekend, well a little while after he started rubbing his eyes and getting really irritated, his nose got all runny, I don’t know if its just seasonal allergies or an allergy to wheat. Thanks.

Im not sure if that is what this is or not, just looking into what my first thoughts were…20 month old has been throwing up after drinking milk for 24 hours, however she can keep down food and other liquids, no fever. Any ideas? I am just her nanny, and her dad has a call into the doctor…just trying to get some info on milk allergy, as it was my first thought when he told me about it.

There’s a difference between being allergic to cows milk, and being lactose intolerant.
If it’s an allergy you can get the usual symptoms, eczema, on face, or body, sinus problems, swollen eyes, hives, fever.
Everyone who posted before me basically gave you all the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Cramping, gas, nausea, vomiting, basically the works.

They can’t hold their milk down. In other words they throw it up. You have to keep changing the milk until you get it right. Have a look. http://www.kidshealth.org/parent/medical…
