Can you use your epipen while pregnant? Just asking just in case I need to use it. I am allergic to shellfish, iodine, bees, and peanuts (yes, I know, I miss out on a lot of fun stuff in life, oh well) I know I have to ask my doctor, and I will on the 2nd.

Yes, but talk to your doctor about possible risks (I can’t remember if there were any or not). I’ve never had to, but I asked just to be sure. Of course, its better than not being able to breathe…

im 16 weeks pregnant and had crab sticks with my salad a few days ago. I completely forgot its a type of shellfish as it doesnt come with the shell when you buy it. anyway i no nuts can cause allergies in the unborn baby but why is shellfish better avoided???
well my nurse said that eating peanuts during pregnancy if u have eczema or asthma can result in the baby developing an allergy to nuts later in life. its also in many pregnancy booklets and magazines so thanks to everyone but i think ill avoid the nuts also.

Eating peanut M&M’s does not cause a baby to be allergic to peanuts.
