Question by 818er: Has anyone tried the beer by Anheuser Busch made from Sorghum instead of barley and wheat?
What is the reason? Allergies? Carbs? Is it still made with rice? How did it taste?

Best way to know for sure is to have some allergy testing done.
Ask your doc about it and he/she can set this procedure up for you at an allergy clinic.
You really need to know because food allergies can be dangerous. Even deadly.
Don’t take chances with your health.

Vodka can be made from corn, potatoes, and wheat among other things and I’m trying to find information on Silent Sam. I have a wheat allergy and was recently given a bottle of Silent Sam and i’m trying to determine if it is safe for me to drink. Thanks for your help!!

Most all vodka is now made from grain. Potato vodkas are rare enough so that makers advertise that fact on the label. I’ve never heard of corn vodka, but I know sugar beets can be used. The distilling process may denaturize the protein you’re allergic to, but I’d ask your allergist about that.

my son has a food allergy to wheat as well as choclate, strawberries,nuts(all nuts) shellfish,bananas, peaches, watermelons, pineapples, greenbeans, apples,and milk, i am looking for what to feed my son, i thought bread was ok but i found out that even white bread was made with enriched wheat flour, please help.

Flour is a Wheat based product. White flour is just a bleached and more processed verson of “whole wheat flour”

Look for rice breads and such.
