Food Allergies Treatment

Question by casey: Wife developed allergy to shrimp and crab a few years ago, are scallops included in this group of seafood?
It is not severe she eats a shrimp or two once or twice a year and coughs a little after wards. If she eats alot of shrimp or any crab she will start to wheeze and need benadryl. Are scallops classified as shellfish? I would imagine lobster is but what about oysters too? I do not know a lot about food allergies.

Both would be considered part of the shellfish family. I wouldn’t try it.
