Food Allergies Treatment

Question by I Help The Noobless.: Why do i feel really sick after drinking milk?
I’m NOT lactose intolerant, and i don’t have any allergies.
The milk wasn’t going off, and i had it in a milkshake form.

I feel like i’m going to throw up every time i have any milk at all, and i never used to be that way.
Mind you, i never do throw up.

You may be lactose intolerant or developed a milk allergy. Have it checked out. Allergies can kill, so don’t drink or eat stuff with milk before you get it checked out.

Question by cute_but_dangerous: Has anyone had an allergic reaction to wheat where they cough and their lungs start to feel congested?
Serious answers would really be appreciated, I have this kind of reaction whenever I eat wheat and yet the allergy tests don’t show that I am allergic to wheat. But when I eat wheat I start to cough so much that I start to choke and can’t breathe. I have seen doctors about this and all they do is give me puffers to use which don’t help. Thanks in advance!

An allergic reaction to wheat could be celiac disease. One of my husband’s sisters has it and my husband also has a coughing reaction when he eats sandwiches and certain cereals. We went with spelt bread and cereal and pasta. While we like the spelt pasta and cereal flakes, the bread was kind of yucky. Also try rice alternatives. To learn more about celiac disease go to

When I was younger, I felt really sick after drinking skim/fat free milk. A few years ago I changed to 1% milk and I started to feel a lot better. If I was lactose intolerant or had a milk allergy, wouldn’t I feel better drinking the fat free milk? Why is this happening? Any reasoning or just the way my body is responding?

good question. experiment a little. my daughter in law has a milk allergy. she gets very gassy when doing ay diary. there are pills for lactose intolerance.

I have a peanut allergy, and sometimes it seems like my parents don’t think its a very big deal. We still have food with peanuts in the house and it makes me very uncomfortable. I don’t even feel safe at home. What should I do?
I’m very allergic.
i think it might also be because i’ve never had a reaction (i’m very careful), so they don’t think it will happen.
