Question by rladkisson: I’m 24 years old and think i’ve developed an allergy to milk. Is this possible?
I’ve noticed that everytime i drink milk, my stomach the bend of my arms and the base of my neck start itching. If i drink a lot of it, my face becomes really warm. I’ve never had an allergy to milk before so i’m wondering if a sudden allergy development is possible. Thank you!

It may be possible for a certain “brand”. Start using some other. Chocolates have milk, ice creams and many more things. But they should not give you allergy. Try turning into a tasty milk shake of your top flavor. OR you can add chocolate/energy products like horlics or milo etc.

Just make yourself feel good.

Question by just asking: I have developed a sudden allergy to shrimp last month, although I have eaten shrimp all my life. Why?
I am a total shrimp fan-I don’t eat any other types of shellfish. However, last month, while eating shrimp in my soup, my lip developed a tingling sensation and soon, it was extremely swollen. I have tried to eat shrimp after that, but my lower lip swelled slightly. A few days ago, I tried to eat four small shrimp morsels, but nothing happened. Today, a friend told me that she experienced the same allergic reaction last month too. Is it coincidental, or is it an allergy? Has anything been added to the shrimp? If it is an allergy, what suggestions do you have? Many thanks to those who respond!

It’s probably because you eat shrimp a lot…but there is gooed news, you can check with your doc, because there are pills out there that you can take if you really want to eat shrimp!

Question by Saebre: I have Coeliac disease(which is when u cannot eat any gluten), and have developed allergies to milk and eggs!?
What can I eat now??

Answer by ???Jeanene???
Celiac is a tough disease to have. I know a gal that has had it for a really long time and she always has a tough time eating. You have to be so careful and check labels on everything. They have lots of things at the health food stores you can get that’s gluten free, but they are expensive and most don’t taste very good. Fresh vegetables are good, but I think I would grow tired of them.
You might ask a nutrionist to help you or check on the web under gluten free recipes.
They have many sites that give lots of good recipes and info. Good Luck.

Question by Zoe: I developed an allergy to cashews and pistachios?
A few years back I ate a large amount of pistachios, and my tongue swelled badly and I started having trouble breathing. My mom told me to watch out for cashews because they are also tree nuts, and stupid me, I didn’t listen. I only ate 3 cashews and had the same reaction that I did with the pistachios. I know that this allergy is not something to mess with, and those reactions really freaked me out.
Is there anything else related that I should watch out for because of this allergy?
i’m not allergic to those kind lmao thank god

Question by casey: Wife developed allergy to shrimp and crab a few years ago, are scallops included in this group of seafood?
It is not severe she eats a shrimp or two once or twice a year and coughs a little after wards. If she eats alot of shrimp or any crab she will start to wheeze and need benadryl. Are scallops classified as shellfish? I would imagine lobster is but what about oysters too? I do not know a lot about food allergies.

Both would be considered part of the shellfish family. I wouldn’t try it.
