Question by Keegan O’neill: What contains iodine?
I recently found out that I have an Iodine allergy, after some reactions to shellfish. I’ve been given an epipen, but other than that wasn’t really told what contains iodine. What should I avoid?

I would advise against it, but ask your pediatrician about it before giving him anything with peanuts in it. I don’t think it’s necessarily a genetic allergy. You’d rather be safe than sorry.

Most shellfish allergies are from iodine poisoning.

I just bought Vitamin Shoppe’s Ultimate 10 Probiotics…I saw after I bought them, they contain “soy and milk.” I’m allergic to dairy (not an extremely serious allergy, but I stay off it). I’m just wondering if it’s okay to take these probiotics?? If the amount of milk is small enough for it to not matter? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
