Food Allergies Treatment

Question by Kay08: How come every time I eat peanuts, a few hours later I have severe pains in my stomach?
It gets so bad I can’t even walk and want to scream. Would this be an allergy or something else? But only when I eat peanuts….?

You are probably allergic to peanuts and nuts and it causes a reaction in your stomach.

We are travelling to Europe with our daughter who has dairy and soya allergy.She is 17 months and not a very good eater.We want to take rice milk for her, but are not sure if it is so good to leave an opened package out from the fridge.It will be better with a small package she can have straight away.I have not seen any.Does anyone know?

A friend of mine has an allergy to milk. She needs to take days off and has to be very careful about how much she consumes or she can become violently ill. However, on a recent trip to Costa Rica, she endulged in the dairy products there and didn’t react at all. What’s so different about milk here that she would be allergic to it but not the milk in Costa Rica?

Why are they the most common foods people are allergic to?

My daughter is getting ready to turn one and normally would begin drinking whole cows milk. Unfortunately, she cannot tolorate milk, cheese, etc and Im not sure what she will eat once she turns one. Does anyone know?
