Food Allergies Treatment

I notice that sometimes when I eat a mature cheese I get a lump type feeling in my throat that makes me feel like swallowing will clear it but never does. This can last for 24hours maximum, I also notice the same thing when I eat shellfish that is not fresh… i.e. from a pizza restaurant. Is this an allergy?

I am doing the allergy elimination diet, and was surprised, that when after having no reaction to milk, had severe gastrointestinal issues with cheese. Any thoughts?

I have experienced some rather severe “reactions” to food. I have explosive diarrhea, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal problems. I have already gone to a gastroenterologist who has ruled out the standard irritable bowel, colitis, etc. She even ruled out a gluten allergy..which to be honest I really thought it was because when I’m on South Beach Diet, which removes all breads, pastas, etc I have no digestive issues. I had been “issue-fee” for several weeks, but all of a sudden I had a soup and salad at Olive Garden and BAM, within 20 minutes the issues were back…full force. I found out there was cream in the soup. That was the only thing I could think that I ate differently (Nope, I didn’t eat any breadsticks). On South Beach, I eat a lot of cheese, so I’m thinking that lactose intolerance can be ruled out. But, I also haven’t been drinking milk like I used to.

Everytime in the morning i eat banana, cheese, milk or oat product i will feel of being over full or bloated or stomach ache or make me want to vomit. Why? Is this a serious problem? Am i allergy to this kind of food? …
I didn’t have this problem before, why now i have this problem?
help please.

I cut out dairy and he got better then I wasn’t sure if it was the dairy and last night had a bunch of pizza (more than I should have anyway) and now he’s been crying all day and back to having diarrhea. Is there anything I can give to help him? He should be better hopefully in a day or 2 otherwise but he seems so miserable:(
