Question by kelly h: What does too much calcium in my babys blood mean?
My daughter has had bloods taken for her calcium levels. They have come back that they are slightly higher in her blood, rather than in her bones. My doc said that she isn’t specialised in this area with children, so I would need to wait for the hospital appt for them to tell me more.

Can anyone give me any more indication of this matter. Is it serious? Is it something that i’ve passed onto her? etc etc

She is currently 16months with a wheat allergy

Thank you

My 18 month old son has a severe milk allergy. If he ingests milk, milk by-products or any processed foods containing milk he is covered from head to toe in hives. I’m wondering if anyone (possibly in the same situation) has some suggestions on ensuring he gets the calcium he needs.

Hi,
My daughter is milk allergic and 8 years old next Sat. I have used the gummy calcium chews that are availble through through the Vitamin Shoppe called Yummi Bears or simply encouraged her to especially drink orange juice that has been calcium fortified as well as her rice milk which is also calcium fortified.
Hope that this helps out! :)
