Question by Sunshine1892: what can i do for a 13 year old birthday party?
I am having my 13th b-day party soon, and i still don’t know what to do. I don’t wanna have it at my house, i want to go out with my friends. I was thinking of a resturaunt, but since one of my friends have an allergy to tree-nuts and shell-fish, i don’t know where to go where its its nut/shell-fish free. Also, i don’t want to spend too much money, because i want to have one party for family and one for friends. So i really don’t know what to do… please help
P.S. Im in Toronto, Canada.

Question by Allison L: I need cute allergy safe food ideas for a Finding Nemo themed birthday party for a 2 year old. ?
My sons birthday party is next weekend and he loves Nemo. So we are doing a themed party with lots of food and snacks. The issue is that our two little cousins that are going to be attending have food allergies. The one is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (and now possibly wheat as well) the other is allergic to egg and dairy. Now the entire party is not going to be dairy, wheat, and egg free as there is going to be a lot of people in attendance BUT I want the kid themed items and snacks to be safe for both boys. I am also doing a pinata but I have already worked out all of the fillings and they are safe. The issue is sea, ocean, Nemo themed snacks and treats that are all peanut, tree nut, dairy, egg, and now wheat safe! Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

I do not think you can find a snack that fits all those categories. Unless its granola or something.

My suggestion would be to plan two separate “allergy friendly” snacks. Maybe the “Nemo orange” items could be nut/wheat free. And “Dory Blue” items could be dairy/egg free.
