Question by ?CLO-MO?: whats the difference between wheat intolerance and wheat allergy?
Best answer:
Answer by Out of control
I’ve seen it described as allergy meaning you’d get a rash or something you can obviously see. Intolerance is a little harder to identify since it may give you stomach problems or headaches that you don’t associate to the food.

Someone told me that dark circles under the eyes could be a sign of a milk allergy. I’ve never heard this before. I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard this and if anyone knows if it’s true or not.

I was on a low carb diet and did not eat any breads for the past month and I felt great! My stomach pains, bloating, and constipation, and lethargy went away. As soon as I began introducing bread in small amounts back into my diet, I started to get the same symptoms again that I have had my whole life. I am thinking it is an allergy or intolerance. I have talked to my doctor in the past and she said to try an elimination diet to see what is bothering me…which I did.
Are there tests that say which it is?

All I know is I can’t consume milk, cheese, icecream, butter, cream, chocolate etc anything with what I consider milk to be in but sometimes I am told ‘nope it’s lactose intollerence not a milk allergy’. Whattt! What’s the difference?
Just so you know the symptoms I get for having these foods include very bad stomach cramps and severe back muscle pain.
