that’s unfortunate to hear, although there is a hugh market for gluten free products.

Any allergy that your body learns, can be reversed. I’ve heard of hypnosis and acupuncture can help. I has a dust mite allergy and it sucks! I would research it as much as you can.

Question by Mommy 2 Nicholas and Lucas!: Peanut allergy– If my child would have a serious reaction would it occur right away?
I have an 19 month old that I still haven’t tried peanut butter with. No one in the family has an allergic reaction to peanuts. Just been a little frightened to try it. Anyways, would he have a serious reaction right away? I just gave him a little peanut butter on a sandwich and he’s doing fine so far. Just wanted to know how long i should worry about a reaction!
Thanks!

No he won’t have a reaction right away since he’s never been exposed, he may not even become allergic to peanuts at all!

If he were to have a reaction it would be the next time he has peanuts and it usually takes about 20 minutes or so and then you’ll see the beautiful reaction, most often projectile vomiting that goes on and on and on for about an hour or so. Or his throat will close up immediately and he’ll have trouble breathing, that result should make you call 911 first – my son had similar reactions to flax see and peanuts.

I broke out the other night, I believe from drinking some bombay which uses almonds as one of their ingredients. What sort of alcoholic drinks should I stay away from when I go out??? Thanks! You’ll save my life for a later date ;)

My son was just diagosed with a milk allergy, so I’m just learning about this. I was wondering do I keep him away from Whey and Casien and things like that? Milks protiens? If so potassium is one of milks protiens and you fin that in bananas so is he allowed to eat bananas do you think?

My 4 month old just started on Alimentum due to a rash on her face from milk-based formula and other issues. She has been on Alimentum for 11 days now and her rash is still not gone. It appeared on her forehead 3 days after starting milk-based formula…small raised bumps (not red). Since starting the Alimentum the rash has not gotten worse but hasn’t seemed to get much better and the bumps are now red. Maybe it’s going away? The pediatrician said the rash may take a while to go away…does anyone have any experience with these types of rashes?
