Question by lani G: does this sound like asthma?
I already know i have bad allergies and sinus, it quite a curse.
I am allergic to lactose, shellfish, pollen, animal dander, dust, bees, mold and one medicinal allergy which is penicillin. some times when i run i cough up mucus and sometimes when i lay on my side it feels like my chest is vibrating or it feels like a cat purr. Other times my chest feels tight and i have to take deep breaths b/c it makes my chest feel more open and i can breath a little better. On occasion my chest itches like when i have a cold (happens when i run). What does this sound like? I should mention i have a cat and live in a huge dusty house and i take flonase 4 allergies.

Question by SERIOUS: Anxiety, asthma, or allergies?
I have all three and they somewhat have the same symptoms.
How do I know which one I am experiencing at the moment?
I get the most freaked out about being allergic to the food I am eating. And lately my throat has been scratchy, so after I swallow it feels stronger and the first thing I think of is being allergic.

I’m only allergic (food wise) to macademia nuts, at least of I know of.
But I’d eat cookies, (that don’t say tree nuts on the label) and get itchy afterwards, plus the scratchy throat.
Is this allergy to the cookies, or just from dust and the junk about spring?

I felt better after I took my inhaler since I was getting short of breath. But I have no idea if I should be worrying about taking an allergy pill, or if worrying is the only reason this is happening.

It is possible you could have allergy induced asthma. I’d go check with da doc just to make sure. hope ya feel better. I have been feeling the same way, just hard to breathe. :(

In my opinion, it’s impossible, but where there’s a will, there’s a way! I am 16, and have hoped to grow out of both as well. Of course, I am still trying to outgrow them…:(

I have a milk allergy but do not know how severe as I never eat any dairy. However, the other day I had a taste of ice cream and almost instantly started having trouble breathing. Do you think this is possible or a psychosymatic reaction?
