Food Allergies Treatment

I have been struggling with “chronic hives” for years, doctors cant figure out what causes it. Last week I did a little experiment of my own and found that i seem to react when i eat products with white flour (bread, tortilla chips, etc.) or starchy foods. I cut these products out for a week and minimal reaction when I ate. I ate only 100% whole grain/ wheat products. Has anyone heard of allergy to only WHITE FLOUR products?

My daughter just turned 1 and has been on alimentum, a hypo allergenic formula. We tried whole milk and she got a rash around her mouth instantly, then we have had her on soy for about 3 days now and she seems to be getting a light rash on her body.

She currently does have her first diaper rash ever, well i thought it was a diaper rash and the MD said it may be yeast so we are using some rx to clear it up.

I dont know if it is that rash or the soy. I am so sick of guessing so I made an appt with the allergist and I am going to have her tested to just “KNOW” if she has an allergy and then go from there.

Can anyone tell me what to expect? I know its the skin prick test on her back, will this hurt bad? I had a big one done when i was a kid in school, but NOT a baby…

I keep hearing about how children can die from allergic reactions to peanuts and how schools are banning peanut butter. Has anyone ever really met someone with a severe peanut allergy they could die from?

I think there is a possibility that my son has a milk allergy… He has constant diarrhea and will randomly vomit… I was just wondering what the symptoms were to a milk allergy…. And what would you supplement the milk with if he was allergic? He has a doctors apt in a week so I was just curious thanks.
I have him on Whole milk he is 15 months old.

10 years ago I became allergic to shellfish after I had eaten it all my life. I still live with the hopes that someday I will be able to enjoy it again. I plan to get retested by my allergy doctor next month. Is there anyone out there that was once allergic to it and is not now? Please share your story.
