Question by S.: Recipes with Stevia, with no Wheat or Sugar? Desserts and/or Main Dishes? (I’ve got lots of allergies) ?
I’ve got lots of allergies, and my doctor has put me on a diet with no sugar, wheat, yeast, corn, or potatoes (among other things). Some of the things I CAN eat are organic berries, stevia (as a sweetener), rice flour, oat flour, organic beef, rice, granny smith apples, stuff like that. I believe it’s called the Candida Diet or something like that. If you have any recipes (especially desserts!) that use stevia instead of sugar, and something other than wheat or spelt, please share!

Answer by the librarian I really like stevia.
Here are some great recipes off of the stevia site that dont contain

My boyfriend is allergic to a LOT and it makes it really hard to cook for him.
He’s allergic/intolerant to:
Milk, peanuts, yeast, rice, and soy… and something about coffee, as well.

Question by kazee: I need new recipes due to sons allergies, any online sites to find them?
I just found out my 2 year old is allergic to milk and peanuts. I need new recipes, so if anyone has any recomendations i would appreciate them.

Answer by ckngbbbls If he is not allergic to soy products, I would think you could simp[ly replace any milk product with soy milk in most recipes. Peanuts wouldn’t be as hard , I would think, as long as you do not use peanut oil in anything. FYI, an allergic friend told me to watch for chocolate too since generally peanut products and chocolate products are produced in the same factories and frequent product crossing can occur.

Question by answers: Anyone have recipies for people with allergies?
She is allergic to eggs, fish, nuts, soy, rice, dairy, wheat (and maybe more…?) With these allergies, does anyone have any recipies? She’s 5, so it has to taste pretty good! She really needs to eat, because all she’s eating right now is basically hotdogs, and she is only 34 pounds or so. Thanks!
Thank you all so much! That site is so cool, it has so much stuff that she can eat…a few days ago my friend and I were trying to make muffins for her, which didn’t turn out so well, but there’s a recipe for cupcakes there! Thanks so much! And InkyBob, the thing is, otherwise she’s like a normal 5 year old! She runs around, loves riding her bike, and likes to hang out with my friend (her sister) and me. Just from looking at her, you wouldn’t know that she is allergic to so many things. Anyway, thank you all so much!

This website has good info. My niece has many of the same allergies, and my sister needs to cook everything from scratch.
Best of luck, and hope this helps!

Question by Tara O: I am often congested – especially at night. I have never had allergies, but could it be due to an allergy?
I’m often congested. at night, I wear Breathe Easy strips on my nose and during the day, I blow my nose a few times every day. I have never had allergies and I’m not really taking any major medications. I’m 28 and am fairly healthy. someone yesterday talked about constant medication being possibly caused by a milk allergy. could this be in response to milk????
thank you for the replies so far! I actually started cutting out milk today, but boy is it hard!!! can I still take calcium tablets? someone mentioned that many tablets still have lactose in them. and does soy milk count as dairy, or can I have that? if milk surely is the problem.
the problem is during the day as well, I’m a little stuffy right now as a matter of fact! I don’t think it’s anything specific to my bed….although I’ll be more aware of that, since I never thought of it before!
