Question by Angel: I’ve broken out, had a sore/swollen mouth/throat and my skin felt like it was on fire after i had peanuts?
or peanut products, however I ate two fries that were fried in peanut oil and other then a slight itch but nothing too bad im fine. Does this sound like a peanut allergy or something else? My sibling has suggested it’s all my head but ive had peanut products on at least four different occasions and gotten the same results. Sore throat, swollen mouth, itchy skin it was hard to breathe etc…..

Question by 5dfggf4f: Is there a reason why I feel better after drinking kinds of milk?
When I was younger, I felt really sick after drinking skim/fat free milk. A few years ago I changed to 1% milk and I started to feel a lot better. If I was lactose intolerant or had a milk allergy, wouldn’t I feel better drinking the fat free milk? Why is this happening? Any reasoning or just the way my body is responding?

Question by end is forever: Epipen expires after only 6 months, is this normal?
A few years ago I was diagnosed by an allergist as having an allergy to tree nuts. He prescribed me the Epipen.
Everytime I go to buy one, it seems that it only lasts about 6 months before it expires and I have to get a new one. Only once it lasted for 8 months before having to be replaced.
Are the pharmacists screwing with me? Are they giving me the soon-to-be-expired Epipens?
Is it possible to get an Epipen that lasts for a year or more?
What’s the average length of time your Epipen lasts for?
Thanks.

Medications should have a 2 year shelf life from the time you pick them up from the pharmacy. You pharmacist apparently is not going through enough of this particular medication and it is sitting on the shelf for a long time. Try a different pharmacy.

No, it isn’t. It may be that if you have eaten something before, the two tastes don’t go together, which is to do with your pallete. This is why the french have sorbet in between course, to cleanse the pallete. I hope I have helped you with your problem!
