For about 3 or 4 weeks now my 10 week old baby has been very congested in the chest and nose.I am strictly breastfeeding. I heard that milk increases mucus. could he have a milk allergy? He does seem to be more congested after a feeding, but it then takes a while for it to go away. He just sounds wheezy and trys to cough up. He is other wise healthy and dosn’t have a fever. Do you think he just has a bad cold, or could he be allergic to dairy? Thanks

When milk is pasteurized it kills all the beneficial nutrients and proteins in the milk. You end up drinking a lot of dead bacteria. All of the active enzyems of milk are gone making it some what foreign to your body and it doesn’t know how to process it. Try raw milk if you can find it on your area. Or try a mix of probiotics and kefier (a fermented yogurt that is VERY good for you) this will help restore your bodies good bacteria which you need for optimal health.
Soy inhibits your bodies ability to absorb protein.

My son for the moment is allergic to peanuts, milk and eggs. I need a VERY allergy aware and reputable daycare, be it a centre or home daycare.

I am vegan, but I am allergic to soy protein which is somehwat of a problem. Is there a way to ‘cure’ yourself from a soy allergy. I have tried drinking soy milk regularly and just dealing with the reaction, and each time the reaction gets less and less svere, but it’s still there. Any tips?
