I’ve had a milk allergy for years, but it was once mild, and is now pretty bad. I used to get minor to average headaches after eating a substancial amount of dairy. Now I get severe migraines. I was told to avoid ALL dairy. Milk, cheese, yogurt. The problem is, dairy is my favorite kind of food. I don’t know how I’m EVER going to change my diet so drastically like that.
What foods (other than soy based products) can I eat/drink that don’t contain milk/milk proteins but that taste as good as regular dairy?

I know there are many questions like this, and mine probably isn’t different, but I couldn’t find one that asked exactly what I wanted to know. My child is a toddler. He cannot speak very well so i am judging by his actions that something is wrong. When he drinks milk he vomits. When he eats cheese and things to that sort he gets diarreah. The thing is i ahven’t really been tracking this. I am not for sure it is each time he has the things that his stomach gets offset. Should I ask the doctor or wait until I know or sure since he is so young? Should i try giving him a glass of milk and seeing if he vomits? Is that cruel? Any suggestions or advice woul be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I woke up this morning feeling sick and had diarrhoea and was wondering if it could be the milk i drank last night just before going to bed. I already know I am allergic to it, went to allergist and got tested. I did drink some in my coffee but just a little bit, and this happened as soon as I woke up, before I had my coffee.

My daughter turned 1 two days ago. We started mixing formula with milk a few weeks ago and she’s been on regular whole milk for about a week or so. I’ve noticed that since then she’s had a rash-type skin irritation on her cheeks and has been crying leading to throwing up a few times a week, but ONLY at night. Normally after her 8pm bedtime bottle. She also seems to be very fidgety…not necessarily crying or fussy but she just can’t sit still. Then all of a sudden she is fine after I rub her tummy so I’m tending to think it’s a tummy ache.
IF it is an allergy or intolerance, wouldn’t it happen all the time? She always has a cup of milk in the morning with breakfast and 2 or 3 throughout the day. It’s fresh milk, I just bought it this evening. She goes for her one year check up tomorrow morning so I’m sure I’ll find out more but just want some opinions until then.
Thanks!

I started my 1yr old on whole milk, and I have noticed he has been getting a really runny nose, so I put him back on formula until I could be sure he’s not allergic to the milk. Could whole milk cause a runny nose?
