Question by i lOVE yAhOO !: Peanut Allergy Problem?
I have had a fatal allergy to all types of nuts since i was six years old & if i eat one i could possibly die. I have read in a magazine about a girl like me with a peanut allergy that kissed her boyfriend and died because traces of it was still in his mouth. I NEVER KISSED A BOY BEFORE & I’M 15! Should i be afraid of the consequences of kissing a boy because of this? And what should i do to get over my fear of kissing for this reason?

My husband has the same allergy; i don’t eat peanut butter.
But soy butter and sesame butter are safe from him.

There is NOTHING wrong with asking a guy you think you might want to kiss “When do you last eat peanut butter?
Reese’s Pieces? Regular M&M’s? Anything with peanut butter.”

More importantly, your doctor can give you an EPIPEN ( it requires a prescription), so that if you are exposed to nuts, you will have longer than 20 minutes to get to the emergency room.

Question by Amber: what to feed a child with milk, egg, and peanut allergy?

Best answer:

Answer by Woofers
…anything that doesn’t contain milk, eggs or peanuts. Look at the ingredient list of a food and make sure it wasn’t processed in the same area as products that contain the allergens too. Pretty easy to do. Keep on the lookout for milk (skim, 2%, fat free, powdered, etc), whey, eggs and egg whites, peanuts and peanut oil. Try to stick with vegan or gluten-free products; the manufacturers usually keep allergies in mind. ALWAYS read the label before giving anything to them, even if you think it’s safe. Just about anything can contain peanuts, eggs and milk.

Question by Elles: Do you think airlines should go peanut free?
I’m allergic to peanuts, so when I fly I have to have my epi-pen and take a significant amount of benadryl prior to boarding. I know that peanut allergies are extremely common and in some cases extremely deadly. So here’s my question, should airlines be required to be airline free? or at least not serve peanuts when someone who has an allergy is on board? For instance, Frontier airlines refuses to accomadate this allergy, is that ok?

No way. I love peanuts and I don’t know anyone who has peanut allergies. No offense, but people could be allergic to a lot of things, and they can’t just get rid of them.
