Have you ever met anyone with a peanut allergy?

I keep hearing about how children can die from allergic reactions to peanuts and how schools are banning peanut butter. Has anyone ever really met someone with a severe peanut allergy they could die from?

No. I’m allergic to all nuts, but all it does is give me severe pain in my stomach.
