Is there a cure to a peanut allergy?
Posted by: Alan in peanuts allergies, tags: 'cure', Allergy, Peanut, There
I am allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, almonds, etc. Have they made a cure yet or is there something I could take that would cure my allergy (something like an herb would be an example). Please add a link if you can.

my understanding is that at the present time, there is no cure for nut allergies. there is some research into having very wee children exposed to it early to essentially build up their immune systems, but beyond that – i don’t think so.

Not at this time. If you are allergic to nuts, you need to leave everything alone that is processed in a plant that handles tree nuts. This includes cereals, cookies, crackers, some jellies and many of the everyday foods we all eat.
There used to be a shot to control the severe reactions to peanuts, but it does not work for me!
Good luck! Good question!
