The pediatrician told me to start my baby on solids, but I am unsure of which one to start her on since she has a milk protein allergy. I am also avoiding soy because the doctor said she has a much higher risk of developing a soy allergy. I heard that Beechnut is very good to try because it has no milk or soy products in it. But I also heard that organic brown rice cereals are good for a baby with milk and soy allergies. Which one is best? Any suggestions?

read labels & avoid any products that contain the allergens.

either one is fine. Any plain rice cereal should be fine. I haven’t seen any rice cereal with milk products in it. My son had milk allergy and we used regular Gerber rice cereal and Beechnut.

google the links between babies with milk protein allergies and soy allergies i couldn’t find anything and they are both very different things i cant find any correlation between the 2 they arnt even similar things

soy is a allergy to the ingredients
milk protein is the capability to break down the protein

he could be referring to milk soy protein allergy that Wikipedia refers to as the same as a milk allergy
