What needs to be considered when choosing meals for a person with a wheat allergy?

There are alot of ingredients that can’t be eaten with a wheat allergy. For instance: Bulgur wheat
Couscous
Flour, including cake and pastry, durum, gluten, graham, wheat flour, whole wheat flour
Hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) or texturized vegetable protein (TVP)
Semolina
Wheat bran
Wheat germ
Wheat starch
