My grandson has a severe food allergy to tree nuts (not peanuts). Many cake mixes, snack products, and prepared foods are made on equipment which also processes nuts. We cannot use those products. Can anyone with similar experience suggest some prepared snacks or mixes that are safe?
He would go into shock and having breathing difficulties which could threaten his life. It is very dangerous!

My daughter is in the same boat. Typically Pillsbury cake mixes and frosting are nut free. Also, many of the Nabisco 100 cal packs are safe as well. Watch out for store brand items (especially Wal-Mart). Many DO have TREE-Nut warnings ~even breads and oatmeal.=( Hope this helps a little. Good luck to you and your family!

Hi, I’m allergic to Treenuts and peanuts…It does get hard!

Brands I like are Cherrybrooke kitchens. They have cake and cookie mixes.

Enjoy Life Brands- Snack type foods, nut free trail mix, chewy bars, etc.

Try Vermont Nut Free chocolate…it’s a website that is nut allergy friendly, they have chocolate chips and different choclate candies

Peanutfree planet also has a treenut free section.

Good Luck to you, these are the brands I like!
