If you asked this question in a forest next to a falling tree and no one was around to hear either, would you please step in front of the tree?

No, not at all. Peanut llergies are genetic and have nothing to do with what the mom ate during pregnancy.

Hi I thought this when when I was first pregnant I am now 32 weeks, as I read that you should avoid peanuts because your baby can develope an allergy in later life.

I asked my midwife as I love peanuts and they are healthy for you and my midwife said that as long as there is no history of nut allergies in the family our baby will not develope an nut allergy.
So I dont know what the info means about not eating peanuts can cause your baby to get an allergy in later life if its to do with someone in your family also being allergic.
I was then told by my midwife that they are better to eat as they contains good nutrients for baby, and as long as I am not allergic or my husband isnt which he is not then my baby will be fine.

In the third trimester, a pregnant woman isn’t supposed to OVER INDULDGE in foods with peanuts in the baby CAN develope a food allergy. I was told to stay away from them completely but a little here and there won’t hurt.
