My daughter stayed on formula after one year old since she kept vomiting the milk we were giving her. She is now 22 months and I have just tried milk again and she does not vomit, so I really am anxious to get her on milk. BUT she has developed a runny nose and flemy cough. Could this be still the milk allergy? Has anyone else’s child had this kind of reaction when drinking milk? I’m hoping its just a coincidence with a cold or seasonal allergies.

my first was. we had to get her off of formula by the time she was 8 months old and started using vitamin drops to replace the loss. she is now 12 yrs old and loves milk but hates cheese. she went from throwing up to sore stomachs and diareah. now she is fine. we used 2% milk instead which is easier to digest and also powered milk but it is not as taste but it works.

It can also be a milk allergy I would use soy milk it is very good and see what that does if not no better take her to doctors for an allergy visit.
