Then don’t give your Hamster peanuts. Hamsters can eat other stuff too, like fruits and vegetables.
I hope I helped!

not understanding what you are saying. You can buy any hamster. you don’t have to give your hamster peanuts. There is hamster food. And greens. I didn;t think hamsters ate peanuts anyways..

You should get in touch with a breeder. Pet store rats are often fed cheap seed diets(which often contain nuts). A breeder may choose to feed a higher quality food(such as lab blocks), that do not contain any nuts.
A breeder would also be more willing to help you, than a pet store. Breeders are about the animals, while pet stores are about the bottom line. Seed foods are cheaper, it is why most pet stores use them.
You could also try major chain pet stores, as they often feed lab blocks. However, you never know what these animals have eaten, so it would be impossible to guarantee that the animal came into no contact with peanuts ever.

Peanuts are not a common food for hamsters. Ask at the store what they feed their hamsters. Does your sister have any friends who’ve ever eaten a peanut butter sandwich?

Hi my brother is also allergic to peanuts as long as you do not feed your hamster peanuts you will be find. I found that the generic breed of hamster fodd at Wal Mart has no nuts in it at all.
