My son is 4 and a picky eater, since he has an allergy to wheat, soy and milk, the healthier things I could get him to eat, he can’t have. I need some sweet recipes along with regular everyday meals that he thinks taste just like what he’d like to eat. Such as mac n cheese, cookies, or pancakes.

Here are the pancakes my own food allergic son will eat!

1 cup oat flour (you can buy GF oatmeal and grind it into flour in your food processor to save money)
    1 cup buckwheat flour
    1/2 t baking soda
    1/2 t salt
    2 T sugar
    1 1/2 t apple cider vinegar
2 cups rice or potato milk, potato is sweeter
    2T cooking oil
1 egg (or egg substitute, or just leave the egg out)
    1 t vanilla
    1 mashed banana
Mix dry ingredients, add wet and mix well. Cook until the bubbles in the center pop.
Nicholas even eats them cold as bread in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

There are gluten free pancake, cookie and cake mixes that are tasty at: http://www.cherrybrookkitchen.com
The chocolate flavor of cake mixes tastes better than the yellow. For the pancake mixes try adding blueberries or soy free chocolate chips. You may be able to find some soy free items at http://www.soyfreesales.com.
Another place that has lots of items for food allergic individuals is http://www.allergygrocer.com.
If you want cookbooks, go to http://www.foodallergy.org
    Hope that helps!
