If he has an allergy to milk it’ll upset his belly when he drinks it, not before he’s even tasted it. I think he’s just being stubborn about the change. Talk to his doc and see what he suggests.
I think I’d try not giving him anything else until he drinks the milk. He doesn’t have to drink a gallon of it, but an ounce or two would work for me, then he could have a little juice.
If throwing continues, I’d break that habit now. Make him pick it up and put it on the table or in the sink if he can reach it, or hand it back to you. He may start getting the impression that he can throw anything he doesn’t like and get away with it. It could land you in hot water with family and friends should he hit some one with it, or something bigger when he gets bigger.

I wouldn’t be too concerned. Eliminate the whole milk issue for a short time and try juice and water. After a bit, he’ll give the milk a try again. I had the same problem with two of mine.

Give him chocolate milk. I don’t think I’ve ever met a kid who turned down chocolate milk. After he gets used to it, you can try adding less and less chocolate to it, in case your not totally crazy for the idea. But it should work

talk to your doc.he doesnt have to get his calcium from milk.he can get it from cheese and yogurt and other dairy products.and only put juice in his sippy cup to keep the two separate.hell come around in time.

None of my children liked milk when they were little. I think it is a power struggle. Keep giving it to him. Is it a bottle or a cup? That could be the real problem and not what is in it.

try mixing 2 % milk with carnation instant breakfest. Thats what my doctor suggested for my 2 yr old. then when he tolrates that switch to whole milk.

You should never give juice in a bottle….
But yeah- he’s probably being stubborn. Try having mostly formula with a small amount of milk and build it up everyday.

Well, juice is okay but high in sugar. As long as he’s getting dairy in other forms, such as cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. he should be okay from a calcium standpoint.
Have you tried the stage 2 formulas? They might work better.
