What Are Some Signs Of Allergies To Cows Milk?
Posted by: Alan in Milk Allergies, tags: Allergies, Cow's, Milk, Signs, Some, What
There’s a difference between being allergic to cows milk, and being lactose intolerant.
If it’s an allergy you can get the usual symptoms, eczema, on face, or body, sinus problems, swollen eyes, hives, fever.
Everyone who posted before me basically gave you all the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Cramping, gas, nausea, vomiting, basically the works.

It depends on if you’re speaking about an actual allergic response – which would include hives (or other rash), nausea and perhaps vomiting, and could go so far as to include an anaphylactic response (drop in blood pressure, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness). Or if you’re talking lactose intolerance, which many people mistakenly refer to as an allergy. In lactose intolerance, the person lacks an enzyme to break down one of the sugars which then ferments as it passes through the digestive tract. Often, these folks experience cramping and bloating, perhaps diarrhea about 1-8 hours afterwards. It also takes a while to relieve these symptoms.
If you’re experiencing an allergic reaction, take benedryl ASAP and go see a doc if you have ANY anaphylactic response, or if there’s any swelling of your mouth or lips. Don’t mess with this. If you’re lactose intolerant, avoid dairy and you might try taking a lactaid pill or 2 when consuming dairy. they help alot.

Some allergies can be upset stomach, stomach cramping, and diahrea.
My suggestion is to stay away from milk products for three days and see if there is any change… Good luck

If you feel sick/queasy/nauseated after drinking it, I’d think you were lactose intolerant.

Allergies–don’t know
Lactose intolerance–stomach hurting. Bloating (equal to 4-5 months pregnant). Diarrhrea with lots of gas. This is with milk or milk products. Even margarine–most breads contains milk–lots of things contain milk–read labels.

Well I am lactose intolerant and it causes me to have terrible intestinal pain, diarrhea, and cramps. The upset stomach takes 20-60 minutes after consuming dairy.
