Milk Allergy..emergency Room?? Help!!?

when i drink milk i get really bad sharp sharp stomache pains that sometimes feel like iam gunna die and i have to go to the bathroom really bad and i start to also throw up it lasts about an hour and a half but it hurts so bad ..my friends think iam a lieer so i wanted to prove them wrong and now my stomache hurts so bad and iam sweating like crazy and i feel like i have to go to the bathroom really bad and like iam gunna throw up..should i go to the ER??

You are probably severely lactose intolerant – but does this also occur with ice cream and cheese or just with milk? Another important question – does this occur with soy milk? When I was younger I had milk allergies but I ALSO couldn’t drink soy milk – it all depends on a specific chemical you may be allergic to. For me, my doctor had to give me a special formula – you should ask your doctor if he/she can recommend something.
My recommendation? Try drinking (just a little) soy milk to see how your body reacts. Also try a little cheese and a little ice cream. You want to be able to target EXACTLY what you’re allergic to. Try not drinking milk for a week or so and only having things like ice cream or cheese to see if these trigger allergic reactions.
And yes, I would recommend the ER, at least for now…

Certainly sounds like a dairy allergy; my mother and I both have this.
People hardly ever believe you when you say you have a dairy allergy. Trying to prove them wrong is a bad idea, as you’ve found out.
If you feel that sick, then the ER wouldn’t hurt. They’ll probably give you a shot of an antihistamine. Alternatively, you could take one yourself (like benadryl) and wait for the symptoms to go away, but it can take days.
