I’ve been slowly introducing cow’s milk to my 1-year old daughter. Recently she has been having diarrhea and developed a minor rash on her face. Is this evidence of a cow-milk allergy? What are some other symptoms?
What do people do when their babies are allergic to cow’s milk? Feed soy milk?
Thank you.

    Oh, you will know!!!!!
    BOTH my kids did!
Yes, those sound like the symptoms!…
    My daughter:
    projectile vomited
was on soy formula before that
had to be put on Lactaid milk (lactose-free) for 1 year
    My Son:
    was on regular formula
had 4-5 runny-poop diapers per day for about 4 or 5 months..
until we notcied and said DUH!!! and the dr. put him on lactaid also….problem solved!
my daughter also has the bumpy skin and always has….my dad had that too, and he was allergic to dairy…
email me if you have any questions :)

Sounds like an allergy to me. my daughter is highly allergic and will even break out in hives if she so much as touches milk. We drink soy or rice milk and there are so many great alternative products available. Take her completely off of ALL dairy products and see if it clears up.

Stop giving her milk for a few days and see if the symptoms subside. If they do then talk with her dr about lactose free options. It does sound like she has a milk allegy.
