Where Can I Buy Goat’s Milk Cottage Cheese Or Does It Exist?
Posted by: Alan in Milk Allergies, tags: Cheese., Cottage, Does, Exist, Goat's, Milk, Where
We are trying my 1.5 yo son on a dairy free diet to see if he has a milk allergy. The doc said Goat’s Milk is okay. My son LOVES cottage cheese but it leaves him with a terrible rash. I have found recipes for Goat’s Milk Cottage Cheese online, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a health food store that actually sells Goat’s Milk Cottage Cheese as I don’t want to make it myself. Please let me know.

You can buy Goat’s Milk Cheese and you can buy Cottage Cheese, but they are not the same thing. Goat’s Milk Cheese is a dull brown in color and VERY tart… I doubt a 1 1/2 year old child would eat it because it’s a bit much even for an adult taste.

We buy goats milk cheese for our daughter.
It is nearly white in colour and very tasty.
I buy from a local continental food shop, it is more expensive than cows cheese but the benefits far outweigh the price.
We also buy goats milk yoghurt.
This we have to buy from a health food store.
I haven’t heard of goats milk cottage cheese though, Good Luck
