Any Mother’s Have A Child With A Milk/soy Allergy?
Posted by: Alan in Milk Allergies, tags: Allergy, Child, Have, Milk/soy, Mother's, With
My son is 10.5 months old and was diagnosed as having a milk/soy allergy. What do other mother’s give their kids to drink? I tried hypoallergenic and Elecare, and he won’t drink it.

my son was diagnosed with a milk/soy allergy at 1 week old and I tried simliac alimentum and he’s been on that ever since. Since your son is so much older than mine was, did the doctor tell you what to try or do? Will he outgrow this as he gets older? My sons doctor said he should outgrow the allergy by 1 year, but this could be different for your child. good luck

Well, at least he’s old enough for non-formulas…
My nephew has a milk allergy. I had to think what I would do if my daughter had a milk allergy since I have strong beliefs against soy. In the end, I decided I would try goat-based formulas and rice milk.
