I have to cut all dairy products!
This is going to be hard for me as I love cheese and milk with cookies (and we just went shopping and got a big container of cookies!!!)
but for the sake of breastfeeding my 4 month old I will do what it takes.
Did you have to go through this? How did you deal? Did you baby grow out of it?

My daughter didn’t have an allergy but she got heartburn. The doctor had me cut dairy from my diet to see if it helped and it did. Have you considered trying soy products while you’re breast feeding? It’s not as good, but if you try different types of soy milk you might find one you like. I love dairy too so it was hard for me to give it up, but I figured, I’m only breast feeding for a short part of my life and it’s so important to her whole life (otherwise we wouldn’t do it right?) so I made the sacrifice. Good luck with your little one.

I did not but a close friend of mine did. He did grow out of it by age 1. Try cutting out the main dairy culprits like milk, cheese and yogurt and see if that helps. Every month or so try adding one back in for a few days and see what happens.

I had to cut out dairy. I thought I was going to starve! :) But, I found out when she was 2 weeks old. I slowly started to add them back in when she was about 3-4 months old and she has done fine with them. Good luck!
