My little one also can’t have cow’s milk. I found that Rice Dream has a good fortified substitute. I use the original flavor, fortified with A, D and B with Calcium. It’s one of the only national brands I’ve found with no added sugar. It’s CRAZY that some of the other brands have high fructose corn syrup as their 2nd ingredient! Whoa!
Trader Joe’s (if you have one in your city) carries Trader Joe’s brand organic rice milk, fortified with A, D, B and calcium with no sugar, also. It’s cheaper than the Rice Dream, too.
Remember, the good news about milk protein allergies is that they usually go away between 2-5 years! Good luck!

My son will be one in December and I am going through the same thing. He is on soy formula now so I was thinking about trying the soy milk. This is tough for me also. Good luck!

my son had this allergy and he did finally outgrow it around 3. He lived pretty much on Silk (soy milk).

it depends, is she allergic to milk or is at a lactose intolerance? They have lactose free foods, including milk. If it is an allergy to cows milk, then try soy milk. There are so many different varieties available today, Another thing is ask your pediatrician, I’m sure he/she could give you lots of good suggestions.

Sometimes goats milk can be tolerated if cows milk can’t. Check with your pediatrician.
