I had two boys had the problem. They out grew by the the age of three. The age of three they did fine and able to be drinking it without any problems… But at times they don’t out grow either. At the age of two or three I would get a allergy testing done on him to see if he allergic to milk or not..

well my son had a milk protein allergy and soy allergy when he was first born… He was on hypoallergenic formula… He is almost 6 months and we recently decided to try him on a milk based formula (good start-comfort proteins) and he is doing great on it, if not better than before. Most doctors want you to try the milk-based again at 6 months, unless it runs in your family then they will have you wait a year.
He is one year, and still on formula?

My son outgrew it at 6 months, but so did everyone else in the family. So if anyone else in your family has a milk allergy it might be best to go by when they grew out of it since everyone is different.

my baby does not have a milk allergy but my good friend’s son does. he is now 2 and is slowly getting over it. all babies are different so just try to very slightly reintroduce dairy. good luck.
